Due to security measures present on your Advent 4211 you need to run the installer from within the TechGuys recovery utility.
To do this.
- Please remove all external devices from your computer, this includes USB floppy drives, printers or CD/DVD drives.
- Insert your flash media into the PC (either USB pen drive or SD card).
- Download the Advent 4211 Recovery Tool by clicking the link above or clicking here. Please note the location you choose to save the file.
- Once the file has finished downloading, open the file in Windows® (by double clicking on it) and click on Extract All Files from the blue bar on the left of the window as shown below:

- Extract all of the files to your flash drive or SD card by clicking browse as shown:
 You will then need to Browse... to your USB Flash Drive or SD Card (By default this will be D: ) before clicking Next >
- Once the files have finished extracting you need to start the Recovery Backup either: To do this either
- Double-click the TechGuys Recovery icon on your desktop or
- Click Start > All Programs > The TechGuys > TechGuys Recovery
- You will be asked to close any open programs. Click OK to restart the PC.
- After your computer has restarted it will automatically load the recovery program and display the TechGuys Recovery Wizard.
- From the main menu select Advanced Options and click the next arrow >

- From the Advanced Options menu click Command Prompt and then click the next arrow >

- After a few seconds the command prompt will open. From here type C: and press Enter to access your USB flash drive or SD card.
- Type install and press Enter. The recovery process will start and automatically install the updated Recovery creation tool.
- Type Exit and press Enter to return to the Advanced Options menu.
- Remove your USB flash drive or SD card.
- Click the left arrow < and then choose Exit and Restart computer. And your computer will restart and load into Windows as normal.
